About the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple Historical Preservation Foundation

The Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple Historical Preservation Foundation is a volunteer group of New Mexico Scottish Rite Freemasons which serves to protect, preserve, maintain, restore, and develop the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Temple as a city, state, and national historical landmark, an educational and cultural resource for Freemasonry, and a community center available to the public for arts, culture, and education.

Preservation
The Temple Historical Preservation Foundation seeks to preserve the active and living early 1900s working Scottish Rite theater with its antique stage, scenery curtain drops, costumes, small properties, organ, and other historic and cultural furnishings and regalia.
Restoration
The Temple Preservation Foundation seeks to restore the collection of Masonic related books, art objects, furnishings, equipment, paraphernalia, and other items of historical, educational, and cultural significance.
Maintenance
The Temple Preservation Foundation seeks to maintain the Temple building and grounds with historical accuracy and appearance while incorporating modern improvements to insure its safety and to support its use and operation.
